Hypnagogia   (2017)

A short abstract animated film on the border between animated documentary and poetry. In it, I depict visual sensory phenomena called hypnagogic pseudo-hallucinations, which we experience when falling asleep. I ask people around me, friends and experts, what things they see when falling asleep. I try to capture that fleeting moment of falling, of losing control of my mind.

The film was created as a diploma thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in the Studio of Film and Television Graphics and premiered at the Jihlava IDFF and was screened at festivals around the world.
